Tango class calendar

Our weekly Argentine tango classes are the most regular way to learn: one group per level, each with its own time slot, from Introduction to Advanced. You sign up directly by the month, with no enrolment fee, and can round them off with intensive classes and workshops.

Not just tango: milonga and vals criollo, the other two rhythms of the dance floor, are taught in the weekly classes, especially at Intermediate level, and also in the intensive classes and workshops.

Classes of 1 h, 1 h 30 or 2 h on a specific topic: women’s technique, men’s technique, musicality and orchestras, milonga lisa and traspié, vals criollo, improvisation on the floor, or figures for dancing in a small space. We also call them seminars. They help you polish your style and improve your interpretation.

The intensive class is a semi-private 1 h 30 class for any level, no partner needed. In a group class there isn’t time to correct everyone; here Luciano watches each student and gives them exercises suited to their level and needs. Attention close to that of a private lesson, in a small group, and a single session with no commitment: it also suits those spending a few days or weeks in Valencia.

Individual lessons, as a couple or in small groups, from one hour. You progress at your own pace, working directly on your strengths and on what you want to improve, at times that suit you.

An hour and a half to dance what you see in class, to music and changing partners, with Luciano on the floor to correct you as you go. It is the step between the class and the milonga, and a chance to meet students from the other groups. Only for Luciano’s students, of all levels.

For couples who want a unique first dance, we prepare a tango, milonga or vals choreography made to measure for you, with rehearsals, videos to practise at home and flexible times.

Introduction: you know nothing about tango; you start from lesson one and settle in class by class. Beginners: you have some notions or learned a while ago and want to pick it up again. Intermediate: you already dance and want to work on movement across the floor, connection, the technique of each role and musicality. Advanced: several years of practice; fine technique, footwork, command of space and interpreting the orchestras.

No class has an enrolment fee. For weekly classes you sign up by the month; for intensive classes and workshops, for one or more dates. In some cases you can come for single classes. Our aim is for you to come regularly and see your progress.
